How many of us have negative experiences of Maths when we were at school? How many parents at Parents Evening say those immortal words : “well I was never any good at Maths”! Reinforcing the same negative attitudes to Maths.
So here are some materials to inspire a different attitude to Maths in the classroom. I highly recommend taking a good look at the NRICH website and I have attached some screenshots of the year group Be Curious investigations, which would be great stand alone activities if you are going in on supply.
The YouCubed website also has some amazing resources and research on Maths mindset.
