News and Reviews

Keep up with the latest educational events/ news locally or nationally.

On May 26th  CSS held the 2nd Paediatric First Aid course at one of our local schools in Belper.

Dianne Banks from DB Safety Training https://dbsafetytraining.co.uk/ led 6 of our Teachers/ TAs in  6 hours self-led online content completed before the in person 6 hour day where they got the chance to practise the practical elements of the course.

This was once again very well received from our participants and they will now be going into schools with an extra confidence when working with children.

The course leader was friendly and approachable. She answered all my questions and helped if you needed support with any practical aspect but I felt comfortable to ask and be shown, without feeling you were getting it wrong!

Thank you so much for organising yesterdays Paediatric First Aid course.  It was an enjoyable day (apart from the extreme heat which we have no control over 😄).  The content and venue were  excellent and Dianne was amazing.  She really made the day!

Tracy, who participated in cohort 2.

The course was very good, the trainer was knowledgeable and encouraging.  The venue was easy to find and had everything we needed.

I would recommend it to anyone else who is interested.

Really good course, which gives me confidence in an emergency.

Juliet, who participated in cohort 2.

I thought the course was great, incredibly useful and informative. So many areas of first aid were covered and I’m confident that I would know what to do in a situation requiring first aid, not just in the classroom but in daily life too. Diane was really positive and supportive during our learning. It was also great spending time with some other lovely ladies who are with Claire’s too!

Thanks so much for organising the training, I’d definitely recommend the course to others.

Mel, who participated in cohort 2.
