Reception Full-time teacher Derby City Area

Claire’s School Solutions are currently recruiting for a Reception teacher to work in a school in the Derby city area. This will be a FULL TIME position and the candidate must be an experienced teacher with an excellent track record. Starting from January and until July 2026.
A recent Ofsted rated the school as ‘GOOD’ stated “Pupils are happy and safe at this friendly, welcoming and inclusive school”.

You must have:

Experience working with KS1
Expertise in teaching phonics
Understand safeguarding
Have a passion for promoting children’s learning

Skills:

Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
Be flexible
Excellent listening skills
Be able to adapt to different working environments as you will be working with multiple different schools
Ability to build strong, trusting relationships
Be resilient
Take responsibility for children’s education
Maintain a positive attitude
Promote and support the inclusion of all pupils in the learning activities
To use positive and personalised behaviour management strategies
