Claire’s School Solutions are currently looking for more supply teachers to join our team and support our local Derby and Derbyshire primary schools. We have day-to-day, short-term and long-term roles coming in regularly in full-time and part-time employment.

(The rate of pay would be determined on experience and qualifications).

As a supply teacher/teaching assistant you will be required to arrive in school at 8:15am and will be expected to adhere to the school policies and follow their behaviour strategies. You will also have good knowledge of the curriculum and will be able to build solid relationships with the pupils.

Supply teachers/teaching assistants who wish to apply should:

• Be able to engage children in stimulating lessons
• Have a positive impact on pupil progress
• Use positive and effective behaviour management strategies
• Have excellent subject knowledge

As a supply teacher, you are able to choose when and where you work. We strive to take the time to get to know you and what you want out of supply; we understand that every teacher is different, and what works for one person may not work for another. It is important to us that you enjoy the roles we put you in, so we work hard to find the right matches for both our schools and our teachers. There is no pressure from us, we will never ask you to teach year groups you are uncomfortable with or to travel too far.
