Claire’s School Solutions are urgently recruiting for a male SEN TA to work in a lovely school in the Ilkeston area. You will be working 1-1 with a reception pupil with SEN, therefore SEN experience is required. This role is full-time, starting as soon as possible and will be ongoing. The school is described as being ‘warm’ and ‘welcoming’.

As a Teaching Assistant you must have a positive mindset and will have strong engagement abilities to support the development of the students. You will show reliability, good teamwork, flexibility, adaptability and commitment to working. You will also need to be able to build rapport with students. 

Skills:

* An ability to build strong, trusting relationships

* To be resilient and able to take regular responsibility for agreed learning

* To use positive and personalised behaviour management strategies

* Able to adapt to different working environments

* Strong communication skills 

* Be passionate, driven and enthusiastic

You will have:

* SEN experience

* Previous experience working in a primary education environment.

* Have an understanding of safeguarding.

* A passion for working and supporting children’s learning.
