Claire’s School Solutions are currently recruiting for a full-time teacher to work in a school in the Belper area. Starting after Easter, you will be teaching a year 5 class until the end of the academic year. This lovely school says ‘…relationships are at the center of all we do’.

As a supply teacher you will be expected to arrive in school at 8:15am and will be expected to adhere to school policies and follow the school’s behaviour strategies. You must also have a good knowledge of the curriculum and will be able to build solid relationships with the pupils. 

As a supply teacher, you will have: 

• A QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) 
• Previous experience working in a primary education environment. 
• An understanding of safeguarding. 
• A passion for working and supporting children’s learning. 

You should: 

• Be able to engage children in stimulating lessons. 
• Have a positive impact on pupil progress. 
• Use positive and effective behaviour management strategies. 
• Be willing to undertake the role of a class teacher. 
• Be committed to the development of all pupils. 
• Be able to work collaboratively with colleagues. 
• Be passionate, driven and enthusiastic. 
• Carefully assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of pupils. 
• Be creative and energetic to make learning fun!

• To be resilient and able to take regular responsibility for agreed learning
