Claire’s School Solutions are currently recruiting for four full-time long-term teaching assistants to join a lovely school in the Long Eaton area. Each TAs are to work separately as one is needed in each class of year 3, 4, 5 and 6. These roles require an immediate start and will be ongoing.

As a Teaching Assistant you must have a positive mindset and will have strong engagement abilities to support the development of the students. An ideal candidate will need to be able to build rapport with students.

You will show reliability, good teamwork, flexibility, adaptability and commitment to working. The duties will vary day to day from general teaching assistant work to 1-to-1 child support.

Skills:

* Excellent listening skills

* An ability to build strong, trusting relationships

* To be resilient and able to take regular responsibility for agreed learning

* Promote and support the inclusion of all pupils in the learning activities

* To use positive and personalised behaviour management strategies

* Able to adapt to different working environments

You will have:

* Experience in 1-1 support.

* Previous experience working in a primary education environment.

* Have an understanding of safeguarding.

* A passion for working and supporting children’s learning.
