Claire’s School Solutions are recruiting for a full-time SEN teaching assistant to work 1-to-1 with a pupil in EYFS with ADHD. You will be working 1-to-1 with this child in the morning and in the afternoon you will be supervising this child in the classroom. This role requires you to have SEN experience and will be ongoing starting in January 2024. This ‘Good’ school (Ofsted) in the South Chesterfield area is described as ‘a wonderful, community school’. This role is a great opportunity to gain SEN experience and to have varied working days.

As a Teaching Assistant you must have a positive mindset and will have strong engagement abilities to support the development of the students. You will show reliability, good teamwork, flexibility, adaptability and commitment to working. You will also need to be able to build rapport with students.

You will have:

* Previous experience working in a primary education environment.

* Have an understanding of safeguarding.

* A passion for working and supporting children’s learning.
