Claire’s School Solutions are recruiting for an experienced general classroom teaching assistant to support an EYFS class full-time in the South Chesterfield area. This role is to start from January 2024 and will be ongoing. You will need experience working in EYFS and be interested in a long-term/permanent role as this could be extended until the end of the academic year. This lovely school has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and is described as ‘an exciting and happy place to learn.’

As a Teaching Assistant you must have a positive mindset and will have strong engagement abilities to support the development of the students. You will show reliability, good teamwork, flexibility, adaptability and commitment to working. You will also need to be able to build rapport with students.

* To be resilient and able to take regular responsibility for agreed learning

* To use positive and personalised behaviour management strategies

* Able to adapt to different working environments

* Strong communication skills 

* Be passionate, driven and enthusiastic

You will have:

* Previous experience working in a primary education environment.

* Have an understanding of safeguarding.

* A passion for working and supporting children’s learning.
