Claire’s School Solutions are recruiting for a full-time teaching assistant  to work in a reception class with high SEN. Therefore, SEN experience is required. This lovely school in the Ilkeston area are looking for someone to start in January 2024 and the role will be ongoing. The school is described as a ‘busy’ and ‘thriving’ place.

As a Teaching Assistant you must have a positive mindset and will have strong engagement abilities to support the development of the students. You will show reliability, good teamwork, flexibility, adaptability and commitment to working. You will also need to be able to build rapport with students. 

Skills:

* An ability to build strong, trusting relationships

* To be resilient and able to take regular responsibility for agreed learning

* To use positive and personalised behaviour management strategies

* Able to adapt to different working environments

* Strong communication skills 

* Be passionate, driven and enthusiastic

You will have:

* A high level of SEN experience.

* Previous experience working in a primary education environment.

* Have an understanding of safeguarding.

* A passion for working and supporting children’s learning.
