Claire’s School Solutions currently have an exciting new vacancy for a caretaker to work in a lovely school in the Mickleover area. As a caretaker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the school’s facilities and providing a welcoming atmosphere for students, staff and visitors.

This vacancy requires you to work every weekday from 6am-8:30am, and then 3:30pm to 6pm, starting on Tuesday 16th April. This is a temporary role but ongoing due to illness. Previous experience is essential. You will require a DBS check if you do not currently have one registered on the update service.

You will be expected to:

• Carry out general maintenance throughout the school.
• Work independently as well as part of a team.
• Carry out odd jobs delegated to you by the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the school premises.
• Use your own initiative to ensure building health and safety is adhered to.

You must:

• Have previous experience working as a caretaker.
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Be organised and able to work diligently and efficiently.
• Pay attention to detail by ensuring the school environment is well-maintained.
