Claire’s School Solutions are currently looking for a part-time teaching assistant to work in a school in the Alvaston area. Starting after Easter, you will be supporting a nursery class on Thursdays and Fridays until the end of the academic year. This lovely school’s recent OFSTED report states, ‘Everyone treats each other with respect and relationships are positive at this school’.

As a Teaching Assistant you must have a positive mindset and will have strong engagement abilities to support the development of the students. You will show reliability, good teamwork, flexibility, adaptability and commitment to working. You will also need to be able to build rapport with students.

Skills:

* Excellent listening skills

* An ability to build strong, trusting relationships

* To be resilient and able to take regular responsibility for agreed learning

* To use positive and personalised behaviour management strategies

* Able to adapt to different working environments

* Strong communication skills 

* Be passionate, driven and enthusiastic

You will have:

* SEN experience

* Previous experience working in a primary education environment.

* Have an understanding of safeguarding.

* A passion for working and supporting children’s learning.
