About the role
Claire’s School Solutions are currently recruiting for a full-time experienced teacher to work in a school in the South Derbyshire area. Starting from October, you will be teaching a year 2 class until Easter 2026. This lovely school’s recent OFSTED report states that, ‘Children get off to the very best start at this welcoming village school’.
As a supply teacher you will be expected to arrive in school at 8:15am and will be expected to adhere to school policies and follow the school’s behaviour strategies. You must also have a good knowledge of the curriculum and will be able to build solid relationships with the pupils.
As a supply teacher, you will have
A QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Previous experience working in a primary education environment.
An understanding of safeguarding.
A passion for working and supporting children’s learning.
You should
Be able to engage children in stimulating lessons.
Have a positive impact on pupil progress.
Use positive and effective behaviour management strategies.
Be willing to undertake the role of a class teacher.
Be committed to the development of all pupils.
Be able to work collaboratively with colleagues.
Be passionate, driven and enthusiastic.
Carefully assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of pupils.
Be creative and energetic to make learning fun!

Salary: Starting at £115 a day
