Y2 Teacher Part-time Derby Area

Claire’s School Solutions are currently recruiting for a Y2 teacher to work in a school in the Derby area. This will be a job share and the candidate must have experience. The post will be on Thursday and Fridays starting from January. This post is not suitable for an ECT.
A recent Ofsted rated the school as Good and stated “The school has a calm atmosphere, yet buzzes with positive energy.”

Skills:

* Excellent listening skills

* An ability to build strong, trusting relationships

* To be resilient and able to take regular responsibility for agreed learning

* To use positive and personalised behaviour management strategies

*Be able to work within a team.

*Cover all the primary curriulum

* Able to adapt to different working environments

* Strong communication skills

* Be passionate, driven and enthusiastic

You will have:

* Previous experience working in a primary education environment.

.* Have an understanding of safeguarding.

* A passion for working and supporting children’s learning.

*Ability to work in conjunction with a job-share teacher- so effective communication skills.
