Y2 Full-time teacher and Assistant Head post.

Claire’s School Solutions are currently recruiting for a Year 2 teacher to work in a school in the Chaddesden area. There will be leadership time and responsibilities. This will be a full-time position and the candidate must be an experienced teacher with an excellent track record. Starting from Easter for the Summer term. Ofsted rated the school as ‘GOOD’ and stated “Staff greet pupils every day with a smile, and pupils respond well to the warm and positive relationships in school”.

You will have an active role in the day-to-day running of the school. You will be teaching a Y2 class for 4 days and have leadership time for 1 day a week.

You will:

Be able to think strategically while being able to deal with immediate challenges.
Provide opportunities for staff to grow and develop.
Set high standards through personal example.
Contribute in a variety of ways to the day-to-day running of the school.
Be a full and contributing member of the Senior Leadership Team.
Deliver clear, authentic leadership.
Ensure high levels of quality and compliance.

You must:

Have experience of teaching core subjects at a primary level.
Be able to work effectively as part of a team and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be organised and able to work diligently and efficiently.
