Y1 Part-time teacher Mickleover Area

Claire’s School Solutions are currently recruiting for a Y1 teacher to work in a school in the Mickleover area. This will be a job share working on Thursday and Fridays from March to July. The candidate must have expertise in teaching phonics, effective behaviour management and supporting SEND pupils.
The last Ofsted, rating the school GOOD, stated “Pupils spoken with during the inspection were keen to talk about how their teachers are kind and helpful and how they make learning enjoyable”.

You must have:

Experience working with KS1
Expertise in teaching phonics
Understand safeguarding
Have a passion for promoting children’s learning

Skills:

Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
Be flexible
Excellent listening skills
Be able to adapt to different working environments as you will be working with multiple different schools
Ability to build strong, trusting relationships
Be resilient
Take responsibility for children’s education
Maintain a positive attitude
Promote and support the inclusion of all pupils in the learning activities
To use positive and personalised behaviour management strategies
