We are looking for a part-time-time teaching assistant to support one of our regular primary schools in the Ashbourne area. This role requires every Monday morning, Wednesday all day, Thursday morning and Friday all day. This role requires an immediate start and will be ongoing.  

The role is for a general classroom teaching assistant, so you will need to be a committed and enthusiastic individual to support the class teacher in delivering their lessons and to provide the pupil with additional support and there may be some personal care required. 

It is essential to have:

* Previous experience working in an education environment.

* Have an understanding of safeguarding.

* A passion for working and supporting children’s learning.

* Strong communication skills that can be demonstrated by an ability to build relationships with other professionals.

* The ability to support the class teacher in motivating the children to create a stimulating learning environment.
