Claire’s School Solutions are currently recruiting for a KS1/KS2 TA to work in a school in the Mickleover area. Starting 9th December, you will be working all-day on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, and mornings on Wednesday and Thursday, however this post will become full-time. You will be working mornings in year 1 and afternoons in year 4. Experience teaching phonics is required. This role is for 12 weeks initially but may be ongoing. This lovely school’s recent OFSTED report quotes a parent who said, ‘My children love coming to this school. It provides a caring, safe environment’.

As a Teaching Assistant you must have a positive mindset and will have strong engagement abilities to support the development of the students. You will show reliability, good teamwork, flexibility, adaptability and commitment to working. You will also need to be able to build rapport with students.

* To be resilient and able to take regular responsibility for agreed learning

* To use positive and personalised behaviour management strategies

* Able to adapt to different working environments

You will have:

* Previous experience working in a primary education environment.

* Have an understanding of safeguarding.

* A passion for working and supporting children’s learning.
