Claire’s School Solutions are currently recruiting for a part-time HLTA/SEN Specialist to work in a school in the Chaddesden area. Starting in September, you will be working every morning with 1 pupil with high SEN, therefore SEN experience is essential. Please get in contact for more information. This lovely school’s recent OFSTED report states, ‘Staff work hard to make sure that pupils are looked after, happy and prepared to learn’.

As a supply teacher you will be expected to arrive in school at 8:15am and will be expected to adhere to school policies and follow the school’s behaviour strategies. You must also have a good knowledge of the curriculum and will be able to build solid relationships with the pupils. 

As a Teaching Assistant you must have a positive mindset and will have strong engagement abilities to support the development of the students. You will show reliability, good teamwork, flexibility, adaptability and commitment to working. You will also need to be able to build rapport with students.

* To be resilient and able to take regular responsibility for agreed learning

* To use positive and personalised behaviour management strategies

You will have:

*SEN experience.

* Previous experience working in a primary education environment.

* Have an understanding of safeguarding.

* A passion for working and supporting children’s learning.
