Claire’s School Solutions are currently looking for a Key Stage 2 Teacher or HLTA to teach French for two afternoons a week in one of our lovely Alfreton-based schools. This ‘Good’ rated school (Ofsted) has been described as a diverse and welcoming school with ‘friendly and respectful’ staff and pupils. 

The role requires a working day of 3.25 hours and a September start. The planning is all in place. (The rate of pay would be determined on experience and qualifications).

As a supply teacher/teaching assistant you will be required to arrive in school at 8:15am and will be expected to adhere to the school policies and follow their behaviour strategies. You will also have good knowledge of the curriculum and will be able to build solid relationships with the pupils.

Supply teachers/teaching assistants who wish to apply should:

• Be able to engage children in stimulating lessons
• Have a positive impact on pupil progress
• Use positive and effective behaviour management strategies
• Have excellent subject knowledge
