Claire’s School Solutions are currently recruiting for a School Business Assistant to work in a school in the Heanor area. Starting ASAP, you will be working full-time until the end of the academic year. This role will recommence in September, and you will be working until Easter 2026. School office experience is required. This lovely school’s recent OFSTED report quotes one parent who said, ‘I could not be happier with the school.’

This role is for a dedicated and experienced School Business Assistant that is looking for full-time work.

You must…

• Be able to work effectively as part of a team and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have strong problem-solving and analytical skills and be able to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Be proficient in using business software and tools.
• Be positive, energetic, cheerful, resilient, well-mannered and an excellent communicator.
• Be organised and be able to work diligently and efficiently to manage deadlines.
• Have the ability to work using own initiative and maintain confidentiality.
• Have previous experience of working in an office environment.
• Have an understanding of safeguarding.
• Have an understanding of Health and Safety.
• Have an understanding of Data Protection and confidentiality.
